Coach Jaime

Coach Jaime Gold was born and raised in Gahanna, OH a suburb of Columbus. As a young girl she started gymnastics (age 3) and was fortunate enough to be able to compete her entire life, eventually earning a scholarship to college at West Virginia University. Following her gymnastics career she began her fitness journey. Always being in the weight room in college and an athlete her whole life she felt like she needed to fill her competitive void,

Jaime started CF in November 2010 with basic online programming and transitioned to a gym in Feb 2011. That year she was able to start competing and made her first appearance at the CF Games! Later that year she moved to Florida to attend Physical therapy school but knew she wanted to keep training hard. She eventually went on to qualify to the CF games for a second individual appearance and has since made 4 regional appearances within 3 different regions (Central East, South East, and South West).

As a Coach:

Favorite Movements: Snatch, Pull Ups, Muscle Ups, Jerks

Least favorite movement: Box jumps. "Let's just say we don't get along very well and my shins/calf will tell you the stories!"

Favorite Coaching Movements: Muscle Ups, Double Unders, Pull Ups

My favorite thing about coaching is seeing someone "get it" when they have been stuck on something for a while. That ah ha moment is something very special! I also thrive on seeing athletes really push past their limits and achieve goals they thought might be impossible at one point!

It's all about balance

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her pup, Mako as well as cooking, baking, going to breweries, and having fun with friends!

3 Things you don't know about Coach Jaime:

2.  I can drive a golf ball 250 yards.
3.  I am a coffee addict.

Advice to athletes is always to listen to you body and be SMART when setting goals!
